i've lived in a sunny, south florida town all of my life where there were only two seasons: summer and
winter. nothing intermedial. i had never experienced the cool smell of autumn, or the millions of colors
surrounding you in the tall branches of golden leaf covered branches.
i often times let my eyes wander into the branches of the trees up high as i walk around campus. it really
is a beautiful sight, every leave a unique blend of varying shades reds, oranges, and yellows creating a
serene feeling as you walk by.
i picked this leaf off the ground because it is a wonderful example of the type of leaves you can find
lying around after an autumn's breeze in downtown atlanta.
